Starting by becoming nursing assistant (CAN certificate)

Certified assistant nursing (CAN) is the degree which you can look for and now there is no need for you to attend regular classes. These degrees can be obtained by online means which can help you to gain working experience and at the same time you can also avail degree.

Enroll for such course after gaining complete information related to this profession. Nursing assistant is the course which might take around ten to twelve weeks to complete and in this period you would learn all the basic of nursing job.

Directly opting for RN degree

There are many people who think of directly going for RN degree as this degree covers each and every aspect of nursing job. All you can learn here is preparing medical history of patient, planning their treatment, guiding patient family, patient care, drawing blood, anatomy, infection control, etc.

Between the ladder of CAN and RN there is a step which you can cover is of LPN. Basically in this step you can learn about the patient medication, clinical practices, basic care of patient, etc.
